Indonesian animators have produced many animated films that are shown in theaters. Some of these animated works also present exciting stories. Some are adapted from comics, and some are inspired by historical narratives.
Now, in 2020, Indonesia will return with its latest animated film, “Titus Mystery of the Enygma.” But before Titus’s animation was released, there were animated films made in Indonesia that were no less interesting to watch.
1. Battle of Surabaya.

5. Achieving Dreams. (Meraih Mimpi)
Released in 2009, Meraih Mimpi is the first Indonesian animated film that was screened on the big screen. 8. Uwa and Rimba Indonesia. (Uwa dan Rimba Indonesia)
Uwa and Rimba Indonesia become one of the viable animations as a viewing choice for children. The main characters in this animation are also Indonesian animals, such as the Orang Utan named Uwa, the Sumatran Tiger named Mica, and the Rhinoceros Berulaula named Pito. 9. Kuku Rock You.

10. Binekon.
Binekon’s animated film was originally intended to remind the Indonesian people of the principle of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. For this reason, this animation contains many values of unity and exertion.
